Returning Values from Forms: multipart/form-data
This specification defines an Internet Media Type, multipart/form-data, which can be used by a wide variety of applications and transported by a wide variety of protocols as a way of returning a set of values as the result of a user filling out a form. [STANDARDS-TRACK]

Security Considerations Applications which receive forms and process them must be careful not to supply data back to the requesting form processing site that was not intended to be sent by the recipient. This is a consideration for any application that generates a multipart/form- data.
